INTERNAL REGULATIONS

In this section of the regulations, we have put together a set of rules to be observed. Living in a communal block and, more generally, living in a community, requires each person to abide by a set of rules for the good of everyone.

- Occupants must ensure that the peace of the building is not disturbed at any time. Each co-owner who lets out their apartment must include a clause in the rental agreement stating that the person renting must adhere to the rules of the ‘Internal Regulations’ of which they have been made aware and which they are obliged to respect.

- The surrounds of the buildings must not be used as playgrounds.

- Cats and dogs are allowed, if kept on a lead or carried. Any damage that they may do will be charged to their owners, who are also required to clean up any fouling produced by their animal. Animal owners are asked to take their animals beyond the limits of the site to do their business.

- Smoking is forbidden in the communal areas of the buildings. It is also forbidden to throw away the stubs of cigarettes or cigars within the co-owned grounds of the buildings. WARNING: the corridors of chalets I and J are equipped with smoke detectors on each floor. PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE IN THE CORRIDORS.

- The hanging of washing at the windows or on the outside of the balconies is strictly forbidden. No decorative object of any kind may be put on the outside of the balconies in order to protect both people and possessions in the case that they should fall and in order not to detract from the overall appearance of the building. The same apples to advertising boards.

- In order to protect the flooring, ski boots are not to be worn in the stairwells or in the corridors. Al the communal areas (notably the entrances, the landings, the stairwells and the corridors) should be left free of encumbrances at all times. No object must be left in these areas (boots, pushchairs, skis etc….).

- At all times of the day and night, it is forbidden to shout, run or play in the corridors or stairwells, out of respect for others and for the comfort of all. After 10pm please moderate the volume of your conversations.

- Skiing or sledging is forbidden on the access paths to the chalets. All games (ball games, skateboarding, biking etc….) are forbidden on the access roads and also in the garages. 11- Household rubbish must be put in sealed rubbish bags and taken to the area designated for the dustbins. PLEASE RESPECT THE NEED TO SORT THE RUBBISH FOR RECYCLING. ANY LARGE ITEMS MUST BE TAKEN TO THE LOCAL RUBBISH TIP AT BEAUFORT and not left by the dustbins.
